Lisa McHugo

Lisa McHugo is one of our favourite artists and illustrators. Lisa's work has exactly the whimsical, fairy tale aesthetic that we love. By day Lisa works for the stunning Chupi Jewellery Company, by evening she creates wonderful works of art for us lucky folk!

Here's what Lisa told us: Hello! My name is Lisa McHugo, I am an illustrator & designer from Galway, currently based in Dublin, Ireland. I graduated from NCAD with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications. Outside of my career as Lead Design at Chupi Jewellery, you can find me working on a range of illustration projects. I use both digital and traditional tools, but I often find myself gravitating more towards digital work. I love having so many colours and tools available in an instant. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do. My illustrations are inspired by nature, mythology, pop culture & most of all, people. I have a particular interest in Children’s book illustration.
